A little about myself:
Born Merrin Stacey Harvey son of Jeffery Graham Harvey (THE BEAR) & Anne Mararahatea Harvey nee Dickie on the 30th December 1973 in Christchurch NZ. I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia with 2 Brothers Donald and Jeff and a Sister Chantee, we mostly resided in the northern suburbs of Adelaide from the erly 80's till the late 90's. Family members still remain residents of the great Australian City of Churches that I am very proud to say that this state was not Colonised by Covicts, good on ya Adelaide.

After living in Australia for mamy years I decided to move back to Aoteoroa and begin to research my Whakapapa & learn all about my ancestors. I achieved this Thanks to all my Cuzins, Aunties, Uncles and most of all My Dad. I was also able to achieve a lot of personal goals one of those was to meet all my cuzzies on both Mum & Dad's side. I was lucky enough to also find my absolute soul mate in life. And with her strong Maori up bringing allowed me to learn alot of knowledge in which I was seeking, Basic but enough to know more than I did 2 years prior. Yolande not only provided me with an instant family but also an endless supply of aroha and support. This allows me to remain grounded and very much in touch with my cultural history. This also gives me a certain inner strength required to keep me and my whanau healthy and safe. She is simply beautiful..... Also with many good friends made in NZ especially in New Plymouth while surfing the beautiful mid West Coast of the North Island. AKA Surf Hwy 42, surfing spots like Back Beach, Oakura, The Kumera Patch and Openake just to name a few. The Naki really shows off with it's breathtaking views of Mount Whats-a-ma-call it (Taranaki or Egmont-name her as you please I'm a Mt Taranaki boi myself). Anyway with the beautiful Snow Capped Mountain standing tall, accompanied by the Kaitake Ranges as a backdrop while surfing can cause you to miss a couple of good sets. Go the Naki...
I was very lucky to spend time on the Chatham Island with my Dad, Uncle and Aunty and Cuzin Wade what an experience. One I will never forget. I have now returned to Australia with my family whom I must say a qucik special thanks to the following love ones:
Yolande McDonald - Beautiful Wife & Lifetime soul mate
A big thanks to my beautiful children,
Jazmin, Roimata, Tane & Jackson Harvey for giving me a good life and a grand future that lies within it.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SAY A SMALL BUT REWARDING THANKS TO THE bRO AND dAD ONE WORD INSPIRATIONAL
Gaje Taneora Harvey we love you son. I live in hope...
